Wayne Jones Celebration Funerals has a different business model to most traditional funeral homes. I don’t have the large landholdings, the bricks and mortar or the big flash offices, therefore I don’t charge opaque service fees.

No two funeral celebrations should be the same, as no two people are the same, the location of the service is very important to capture the lifestyle of a person, music, tributes and photos are also a special way of remembering.
I have been a funeral director/ celebrant for 25 years, 15 of those years were with Trevelion Funerals where I have helped many people from the Brighton community, I have also had the honour to conducted State Funerals, funerals for very high profile people, funerals for the young and the elderly. What is important, is that we take the right steps to capture their life and to say thank you to them.

I began my career at Trevelion Funerals, a respected, traditional funeral company in Brighton that has been upholding community values since 1870. My years with Trevelion Funerals helped shape my approach to funeral services, rooted in tradition and community care.
In addition to my time with Trevelion Funerals, I have operated independently as Wayne Jones Funerals, bringing my commitment to personal and meaningful funeral services directly to families. As a Seacliff resident, I’m deeply connected to the community, holding life membership at the Seacliff Surf Club and being actively involved with the Brighton Surf Club and Brighton RSL.
I’m passionate about helping families honor their loved ones by creating funeral services that truly reflect a life well-lived. My approach to funerals is centered on celebrating the life of the deceased, offering a heartfelt tribute that supports families through their time of loss.
